I purchased these with the cross charms and the leaf charms. Sometimes I have problems, due to age, getting earrings in and secured. Not with these! The part that secures the earring is a hinge that you can fold back so after you get the post through your ear you can easily secure the closure. Another feature I like is that the charms slide off so I was able to add some semi precious beads I had in my jewelry collection to wear with the charm. I even fell asleep with these in because they are very comfortable and lightweight. So happy/satisfied that I just ordered the ones with the heart charms.
