B (Bible Verse): "There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off." - Proverbs 23:18 (NIV)
L (Listen): Dear God, help us to have faith in Your plans for our lives and to trust that You have a hope and a future for each of us. Give us the strength to overcome any obstacles or setbacks that we may face along the way. May we never lose sight of the hope that we have in You. Amen.
E (Explore): Proverbs 23:18 is a verse that encourages us to keep our hope in the Lord. It was written by King Solomon, who was known for his wisdom, and is a part of a collection of his teachings found in the book of Proverbs. Solomon wrote this particular verse to encourage his son to continue to trust in the Lord and to never lose hope, even when things may seem difficult or uncertain.
S (Study):
Future hope: The verse speaks of a hope that lies ahead, a hope that is based on faith and trust in the Lord's plans for our lives.
Not be cut off: This phrase suggests that our hope is secure and cannot be taken away from us.
S (Summarize):
We all know how easy it can be to feel discouraged or overwhelmed by the challenges we face. We may feel like our dreams are out of reach or that our circumstances will never change. But this verse encourages us to hold onto our hope in the Lord, knowing that He has a plan for our lives.
When we put our trust in God, we can be confident that our hope will not be cut off. We can look forward to a future that is full of promise and possibility, even in the midst of difficult times.
So, what can we do to hold onto our hope in the Lord? We can start by spending time in prayer and reading the Bible, which reminds us of God's faithfulness and love for us. We can also surround ourselves with other believers who can encourage us and lift us up in times of need.
I want you to remember the hope that we have in the Lord today. Trust in His promises and look forward to the future with confidence. And encourage others to do the same, sharing the hope and love of Christ with those around us.
