Beautiful In Its Time

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” ~Ecclesiastes 3:11

Isn’t that lovely? There is beauty in everything, just as there is a right time for all things - but WE cannot decide when that time would be - only God can see time in its entirety.

The beginning of this chapter is familiar to us:

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: 
a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

God “has set eternity in our hearts” - but we, as humans, cannot really wrap our minds around that concept. We live by chronologically and measure our lives by chunks of time. Having no end is foreign to what we know. But God assures us of this truth. Jesus is the beginning and the end. ~Revelation 1:8 and all things are created in Him, for Him and by Him! God’s plan is SO big - why do we limit Him?
