Come to Me

I'd like to dedicate this verse to the Ukrainian people...

~ I pray that this verse will be ever-present in their minds and they will feel Jesus Himself speaking these comforting words into their hearts.
~ That they would feel His arms around their war-torn country and know beyond a doubt that He is there with them.
~ That He is all about peace and reconciliation and not approving of war. Even in the midst of terror and chaos, He can bring internal peace and reveal the loving support from others, even from the other side of the world.

The true strength of a country is revealed during troubled times - men and women laying down their lives for their fellow countrymen, sacrificing comfort and food so others will not go without. Caring for the elderly, the young and even their pets.

I read of an account yesterday of a Ukrainian woman giving food and water to a dying Russian soldier, allowing him to use her phone to call home, not correcting him when he called her mama. I have tears while writing this. She truly manifested Jesus - forgiveness and compassion won out over the darkness - love annihilated evil.

I am grateful that we hear these stories - the wrenching of our heart changes us, makes us more like Him. Imagine a world full of Jesus minds and hearts! Talk about a transformation!

John 1:4-5 "In Him there was life, and that life gave light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not defeated it."

Have a blessed day! 💙
