B - Bible Verse in NIV (Joshua 23:14) "Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed."

L - Listen for God's Voice and pray Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness. Help us to remember and cherish every promise You've kept in our lives. Strengthen our faith to trust in Your unfailing love, even when we can't see the way forward. May we find comfort and joy in savoring Your promises, both fulfilled and yet to come. In Jesus' name, Amen.

E - Explore the History and meaning Joshua, nearing the end of his life, is addressing the Israelites. He's reminding them of God's faithfulness throughout their journey from Egypt, through the wilderness, and into the Promised Land. This verse serves as a powerful testimony to God's perfect track record in keeping His promises, encouraging the people to continue trusting in God's word for future generations.

S - Summarize and Share (Savoring God's Promises theme)

Sometimes in life, we can feel like we're wandering in a wilderness of our own. Maybe you're facing a health challenge, or struggling with a difficult relationship, or just feeling lost and uncertain about the future. In those moments, this verse calls us to pause and savor the sweetness of God's promises.

Joshua says, "You know with all your heart and soul." This isn't just head knowledge we're talking about. It's that deep-down, in-your-bones certainty that comes from experiencing God's faithfulness firsthand. It's like the difference between hearing about how delicious a peach is and actually biting into one, juice dripping down your chin.

And what does Joshua remind the people? Not one of God's promises has failed. Not a single one! Every promise fulfilled. Can you imagine that? In a world where people often break their word, where circumstances change and disappoint us, we have a God who keeps every single promise He makes.

This verse encourages me to take time to savor God's promises like I would a delicious meal. To really think about and appreciate each one. Maybe it's the promise of salvation, or the promise of His presence, or the promise of His love. Perhaps it's a specific promise He gave you during a tough time.

When we do this - when we really savor God's promises and remember His faithfulness - it builds our faith for the future. If God has kept every promise in the past (and He has!), we can trust Him to keep His promises going forward. So even if we're facing uncertainties or waiting on a promise to be fulfilled, we can hold onto hope.

Today, let's follow Joshua's example. Let's remind ourselves and each other of God's faithfulness. Let's savor His promises like they're the sweetest dessert we've ever tasted. In doing so, we'll find our hearts filled with gratitude, our minds at peace, and our faith strengthened for whatever lies ahead.

Remember, dear ones, our God is a promise-keeping God. And that's a truth worth savoring every single day.
