B - Bible Verse in NIV (Mark 9:23) "'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes."
L - Listen for God's Voice and pray Dear Lord, we come to You today with hearts open and ready to receive Your truth. We pray that You would increase our faith and help us to trust in Your unlimited power. Remove any doubts or fears that may be holding us back, and give us the courage to believe that with You, all things are possible. May we experience the joy and peace that comes from placing our faith in You alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.
E - Explore the History and meaning In Mark 9, Jesus encounters a father who brings his demon-possessed son to the disciples for healing. However, the disciples are unable to cast out the demon. The father then approaches Jesus, saying, "If you can do anything, take pity on us and help us" (Mark 9:22). Jesus responds with the statement in verse 23, emphasizing the power of faith and the limitless possibilities available to those who believe in Him. This passage demonstrates Jesus' authority over evil spirits and highlights the importance of faith in accessing God's power.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation that seemed hopeless? Maybe you're facing a health crisis, a financial burden, or a broken relationship that feels beyond repair. In those moments, it's easy to wonder if even God can make a difference. But here's the thing: our limitations are not God's limitations.
In Mark 9:23, Jesus makes a powerful statement in response to a father's desperate plea for his son's healing. The father says, "If you can do anything, take pity on us and help us." But Jesus flips the script and says, "If you can? Everything is possible for one who believes."
Wow. Let that sink in for a moment. Everything - not just some things, not just the easy things, but everything - is possible for those who believe. That means that no matter what you're facing today, no matter how impossible it may seem, God is more than able to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
But here's the catch: it all comes down to faith. Faith is the key that unlocks the door to God's power and provision in our lives. It's not about mustering up enough belief on our own; it's about placing our trust in the One who is always faithful and true.
And when we do that, when we choose to believe that God is who He says He is and that He can do what He says He can do, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities. We start to see obstacles as opportunities, challenges as chances to grow, and impossibilities as invitations to watch God work.
So today, if you're facing something that feels too big or too hard, can I encourage you to take a step of faith? Bring your doubts and fears to Jesus, and trust that He is more than able to handle them. Choose to believe that everything is possible for those who trust in Him, and watch as He works in ways you never could have imagined.
Remember, faith isn't about having all the answers or seeing the whole picture. It's about taking one step at a time, hand in hand with the One who is always faithful. So keep believing, keep trusting, and keep holding onto the promise that with God, all things are possible.
