For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive.
“But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive. ” ~1 Corinthians 15:20-22
This, my friends, is what Easter is all about. This is what LIFE is all about. We have distorted and twisted this message. We have added things that do not belong. We have confused traditions and truth. We have taught our children, generation after generation, a message of fear and punishment.
But the light has dawned. The radiance of Christ’s glory shines brighter and brighter with each new day. His plan, His mission, His love becomes clear as we gaze upon Him and the words we have read over and over have new meaning. “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive”; “When I am lifted up, I will draw all to myself”; “For God shut up all into disobedience, that He may show mercy to all.”; “For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through Him.”; “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
Yes, behold Him! His resurrection is our guarantee. He is the firstfruit, the best with the rest to follow. “And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out!”
Have a blessed day!
