How comforting it must have been to have heard those words. - knowing that the Almighty God of the universe has your back - well, there is nothing better.

You can face ANYTHING with God on your side. Look at young David, eager to defend the Israelite army alone against a giant with only a stone and a sling [1 Samuel 17]. Daniel and a handful of faithful ones stood God’s ground before the most powerful ruler on earth [Daniel 1]. Noah, built something of enormous proportions just because God told him to amongst a jeering crowd with mob mentality [Genesis 6]. The examples are many of God making possible the impossible.

He’s given us these stories so that our faith will be strengthened. Hebrews 11 is full of such events - it’s the Faith Hall of Fame. We can live, knowing that God never changes and He will continue to fight FOR us and never leave us. He may not take you out of a situation, but He will give you the ability to power through, to persevere, to be radiate His love.

People watch how we handle things, our reaction, our responses. God enables us to walk in victory humbly, reflecting His light.
