April 1rst is a day of pranks and broken promises. I once had a co-worker who bought a fake million dollar winning lottery ticket for her husband. Imagine the roller coaster ride of emotions from ecstasy to disbelief when she yelled “April fools!” (I get angry for him just writing this).

God makes many promises to us and it’s quite an understatement to say that He never breaks them. Amen means “Let it be so” or “Truth!” - It’s like God’s notary stamp.

Look at the Mirror Bible translation: “In Him [Jesus] the detail of every single promise of God is fulfilled; Jesus is God’s yes to your total well being! In our union with Him the Amen that echoes in us gives evidence to His glorious intent through us.”

Doesn’t that make you feel loved? He promises to never leave us. He promises to always love us. He sealed that promise with His Son - the Prince of Peace. Amen!
