Not many (if any) women are 100% pleased when they look in the mirror. There is always something they wish was different.   Sometimes I hear Satan sneering in my ear, "How can anyone love you?  Look at you." But thankfully, the Holy Spirit is louder and says, "You are God's Masterpiece and HE loves you!"  Masterpiece!  Master-piece! Piece of the Master!  Any which way you slice it, the word blows your mind.

When an artist creates a masterpiece, it is sublime, the best of its kind, treasured, cherished and beloved. That is YOU! That is me. Each one of us is uniquely a masterpiece of the Almighty God - the Creator of all things.  Wow!

The verse indicates that God planned in eternity past for you.  He designed the space that you would occupy - a perfect blueprint for His handiwork to be and to live and to work, worship and wonder.  How He loved you then and loves you now!

The next time you look in the mirror and feel doubt or dismay, remember that you are God's very own MASTERPIECE!
