He Bore Our Sins

I saw a post the other day, "Normal isn't coming back, but Jesus is". I thought that could succinctly describes the state of the world - in any generation. No matter what is going on around us, no matter who is making the rules, we can be assured of one thing (not just death and taxes) - Jesus is coming back!

He has already conquered the enemy because He took on the sin of the world and actually BECAME sin on the cross. 2 Corinthians 5:21  "For He made the One who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 

His victorious resurrection Easter morning is the ultimate triumph. He is now waiting for the "fullness of time", the perfect time for His return. What a glorious day we can anticipate!

Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
And buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He's coming
Oh, glorious day, oh, glorious day
