He Gives Snow

"At His command the ice melts, the wind blows, and streams begin to flow"
Just as God dissolves the snow and ice with His word, He specializes in hard human heads. He softens hearts of stone and turns the stiffest necks toward Him.

Just when you think someone is impossible to penetrate, God can step in and weaken all the defenses. The hard rigid law was written on tablets of stone, but Jesus came to replace that with a new covenant - a love story on the tablets of our heart.

The prophet Ezekiel foretold this "And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." Paul used this analogy so beautifully in his letter to the Corinthians "You are like a letter written by Christ and delivered by us. But you are not written with pen and ink or on tablets made of stone. You are written in our hearts by the Spirit of the living God.

Everything in the Old Testament points to Christ. This imagery is no different - the stone temple was destroyed and we have become the temple, with Christ as the cornerstone. A living breathing church, whose mission is to be His hands and feet. Not a judgmental unyielding unforgiving entity, but a love letters written by the Jesus Himself.

Pick the most stubborn person you know and start praying for them and watch the love of God melt their heart.
