“Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” ~2 Peter 1:4

Great and Precious Promises
What a hope You’ve treasured up for us
Wealth and riches hidden in Jesus
What a wondrous gift to be invited
To Your throne
To find mercy and grace in our need
Such great and precious promises You’ve given
All we need for holiness and life
Great and precious promises You’ve given
Purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ
All of them are “Yes,” every promise “Yes”
All of them are “Yes” in Christ
The faithfulness You’ve shown us in the past
Assures us of Your goodness in the future
You who did not spare Your Son
But gave Him for us all
You will surely give us all other things
