B - Bible Verse (NIV): Ephesians 1:19-20 "and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,"

L - Listen for God's Voice and Pray: Heavenly Father, I am in awe of Your amazingly great power. Help us to grasp the magnitude of Your strength at work in us, and may we walk in confidence as we trust in Your power. Amen.

E - Explore the History and Meaning: Ephesians 1 is a letter written by the apostle Paul to the believers in Ephesus. In these verses, Paul is offering a prayer for the Ephesian believers, emphasizing the immeasurable power of God available to them as believers.  Paul speaks of the incomparably great power of God, which is at work in those who believe. He compares this power with the same mighty strength God exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in heaven.

This passage highlights the transformative nature of God's power in the lives of believers. It's a reminder that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us, empowering us to live victoriously and fulfill God's purposes on earth.

S - Summarize and Share:

Ephesians 1:19-20 is like a whisper of encouragement straight from the heart of God. It's as if Paul is saying, "Hey, you know that incredible power you sense within you? That's God's mighty strength—the same power that raised Jesus from the dead!"

These verses remind me that I'm not meant to navigate life's challenges on my own. Instead, I have access to a supernatural power that flows from my relationship with Christ. It's a power that empowers me to overcome obstacles, face uncertainties, and step boldly into God's purposes for my life.

When you read and study this verse, think about the countless times when we’ve felt weak, inadequate, or overwhelmed. Yet for me, it’s in those moments that God's power has been my strength. It's lifted me up, carried me through, and enabled me to stand firm in the face of adversity.

May these verses be a source of encouragement and empowerment for us all. May we lean into God's mighty strength, trusting in His power to sustain us, guide us, and accomplish great things through us.
