I Have Come That They May Have Life

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full." John 10:10

If someone gave you a choice between being robbed & demolished or having a fulfilling life, what would you choose?? It's a no-brainer. Why then do we want to cling to the way of the thief? We do, you know. We like to think that we are always focused on Jesus, living an abundant grace-filled life, but every. single. person, no matter how "religious" we are, has moments of turning away, becoming self-absorbed and hiding from the light.

Jesus says, "I not only bring everyone LIFE, but a life that is super abundant! So wonderfully extra that it cannot be measured." That's what the Greek says. Let us cling to THAT life - one that fulfills, fills full and saturates us.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
Amen
