I Will Sing Praise to My God

Music is universally loved - just think of what it would be like if all believers joined together to praise the Lord. Someday, we will know what that is like! Ah, that gives me chills.

The communion of song has always had an effect on me - I remember when "We are the World" was developed in 1985 as a charity single for Africa - it brought tears seeing all the musical artists join together for good.

This Psalm is a prophecy of sorts - we WILL sing praise to our God as long as we live....and that's forever! I remember a song from VBS a zillion years ago - it was taken from Psalm 89, but with the same concept:

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever
I will sing I will sing
What a mercy that I am in the church forever
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord

With my mouth will I make known
Thy faithfulness Thy faithfulness
With my mouth will I make known
Thy faithfulness to all generations
