Summarize and Share

It's one thing to hope we will be saved, to yearn for life after death. Jesus proved that this hope is not a fantasy. He died, then showed Himself alive to many witnesses. Our faith is not a wish for a better world. The reason for our hope in an eternity with the Father is that our Lord is alive. Because He lives, those who believe in Him will also be resurrected.

The return of Jesus is still in our future. We’ve never seen Him, but not seeing Him with my eyes has not stopped me from believing in Him, and loving Him. Some people still laugh at those who have faith, because it seems foolish to them.  If I’m foolish, then let me be foolish, because that foolishness has brought me into God’s presence.  It lets me know God.  And the more I know Him, the more comfort and joy that I experience.

Romans 15:13 – May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
