B - Bible Verse: 2 Kings 6:17 (NIV) "And Elisha prayed, 'Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.' Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."

L - Listen for God's Voice and Pray: Dear Heavenly Father, Please open our eyes, just as you did for Elisha's servant, so that we may see the spiritual realities and understand the significance of this verse in our lives. Help us to discern your message and apply it to our journey of faith. Amen.

E - Explore the History and Meaning: This passage was written in the book of 2 Kings, which is a part of the Old Testament. It tells the story of Elisha, a prophet, and his servant who found themselves surrounded by an enemy army. Elisha prayed for his servant's eyes to be opened, and he saw the Lord's heavenly army surrounding them, ensuring their protection.

At the time this scripture was written, there were frequent conflicts and wars among different nations in the region. This verse reminds us of God's power and protection, even in the midst of adversity. It encourages us to have faith and trust that God is always with us, even when we can't see His presence.

S - Summarize and Share:

Isn't it amazing how in this verse, Elisha's faith and God's incredible power come together? Just picture it: Elisha and his servant surrounded by an enemy army, a seemingly impossible situation. But Elisha doesn't panic; he prays. He asks God to open his servant's eyes, and something extraordinary happens – his eyes are opened to see a majestic heavenly army of horses and chariots of fire encircling them.

Now, think about your life. There are times when challenges and worries may surround you, making you feel overwhelmed and vulnerable. But just like Elisha, you can turn to God in prayer. You can ask Him to open your spiritual eyes, to reveal His presence and protection that's always there, even when you can't see it with your physical eyes.

Imagine the relief and awe that servant must have felt when he saw God's mighty army. That's the kind of reassurance and comfort God wants to provide to you too, right when you need it most.

So, when you face difficulties or uncertainties, remember this verse. Let it remind you of God's incredible power and His unwavering presence in your life. Trust that His heavenly army is there to guard and guide you through any situation, no matter how challenging it may seem.

Keep this verse close to your heart, share it with your friends, and let it be a source of encouragement in your daily life. God is always with you, ready to reveal His power and protection when you turn to Him in faith.
