"Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else." ~Acts 17:24-25

Love entered the world on Christmas.  Pure love.  God's love. Love that lets us feel our soul's worth. We love because He loved us first (1 John 4:19) - before we were even born. In fact, even before the foundations of the earth were laid (Ephesians 1:4).  And while we were still sinners, that Love went to the Cross for us (Romans 5:8) - the culmination of Love's mission. There is no greater love than for a man to lay down His life for another (John 15:13) - and Jesus did that for all of us. Every single person on this planet who has ever lived and who has yet to come was covered by this Love. "Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world!" (John 1:29) "My Father is the one who gives you the true bread from heaven. And the bread that God gives is the one who came down from heaven to give life to the world."  (John 6:32-33)

On Christmas...that Bread from heaven came.  On Easter, that Lamb was sacrificed. All for us. God did that for US. For you and me. What kind of love is this??  It's love that shines through us when we smile at someone, when we help someone in need, when we offer comforting words and a shoulder to cry on.  It's love that sends rippling effects to such far reaches that no one can comprehend.  It is mysterious, magical and marvelous. Quoting Mother Teresa: “It is Christmas EVERY TIME you let God love others through you. Yes, it is Christmas everytime you smile at your brother and offer him your hand”.

"Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love forgives all offenses" (1 Peter 4:8) "Love each other. You must love each other just as I loved you. By this it will be clear to all men that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another." (John 13:34-35)

Actions speak louder than words - think of how we can change the world by loving with God's love!
