Revealed to Us

“These are the things God has revealed to us by His Spirit. The Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10

This verse needs the “mind-blown” emoji, doesn’t it? The Creator of the Universe, the Maker of all the things that exist, The Designer of life itself shares Himself with us. His Spirit dwells within us, teaches, comforts, guides, and gives joy. There are no words to properly give justice to these magnificent concepts.

Consider a moment when you felt perfectly content - I think that is God allowing a glimpse into His essence, the realm in which eternity, forever & ever exists. We tend to think that heaven is “way up there', but is it really? What if it surrounds us, envelops us in love and gives peeks thru the veil every now and again. I suspect that we will be astonished at how many times this happens every day. A kind smile from a stranger - God’s love. A hug from your little one - God’s love. A flower in full bloom - God’s love. There are not enough words in the world to exhaust examples of His love. 1 John 4:8 tells us that God IS love. If God is omnipresent (and He is) then His love is everywhere. Delivering us from evil, protecting and shielding from the effects of sin. His love perfectly demonstrated on the Cross where Jesus drew all to Himself, God reconciling the world’s sin.

John 12:32  “I will be lifted up from the earth. When that happens, I will draw all people to myself."  2Corinthians 5:19a  “God was in Christ making peace between the world and Himself, not putting their sins to their account”

THAT is how God reveals His heart for us.

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~Rom 8:38-39
