This is such an encouraging verse for today's world!  I know that I need to remember this when faced with the news, which makes me want to hide on some remote island.

God sees us much differently than we see ourselves.  He sees our potential and what we are IN HIM. Sometimes I feel like Gideon - working in the most unlikely hidden place. The Angel of the Lord appeared and called him "Mighty Warrior".  I picture Gideon glancing behind for someone else and then saying, "Who, ME???" (Judges 6)

Read the whole chapter of Proverbs 31.  Keep in mind that this is superwoman of ancient Israel. In today's culture, this may be a combo of Mother Teresa, Angelina Jolie, Martha Stewart, Rosa Parks and Dian Fosse.

Stand tall and feel this to your very bones.  You ARE this woman when your will is aligned with God's.   How humbling to get a glimpse of how God sees YOU!

Proverbs 31

How hard it is to find the perfect wife. She is worth far more than jewels. Her husband depends on her. He will never be poor. She does good for her husband all her life. She never causes him trouble. She is always gathering wool and flax and enjoys making things with her hands.  She is like a ship from a faraway place. She brings home food from everywhere. She wakes up early in the morning, cooks food for her family, and gives the servants their share. She looks at land and buys it. She uses the money she has earned and plants a vineyard. She works very hard. She is strong and able to do all her work.
