L - Listen for God's Voice and Pray: Begin by quieting your heart and mind. Invite God to speak to you through this verse. Pray for insight and understanding, asking Him to reveal how it applies to your life.

Proverbs is a collection of wise sayings attributed primarily to King Solomon, offering practical guidance for living wisely. This verse highlights the principle of generosity, emphasizing the blessings that come from sharing with those in need.
S - Study the Key Words or Phrases: Identify key words or phrases in the verse. In this case, "generous," "blessed," and "share their food with the poor" stand out. "Generous" refers to a disposition of giving freely, while "blessed" signifies receiving God's favor and abundance.
