The Stars Were Made to Worship

The Stars were made to worship

The clear night sky is mesmerizing. Our minds cannot comprehend its expanse. Some say that it makes them feel small and insignificant, while others, myself included, feel special and loved. God created the vast universe to contain and support a teeny tiny planet called earth - for us.

Astronomers say that we could count stars in our Milky Way, one per minute, for 1000 years and never count them all! And we live in a small galaxy! How is it possible that there are so many stars - 250 billion, they say! And yet, God has them all named. Then there are approximately 2 TRILLION galaxies....

The Bible personifies creation - trees clapping their hands, stones proclaiming Messiah, all groaning in anticipation of restoration. At minimum, 250 billion stars times 2 trillion galaxies worshipping our God most high.

But God did not become a star or a tree or a stone. He became man so that all of creation would be redeemed. Thru one man, all of creation fell. Thru one Man, all will be made alive!

"Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous." Romans 5:18-19

"For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive." 1 Corinthians 15:22

"Through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of His cross." Colossians 1:20

If the stars were made to worship, then so will I. Psalm 147:4  He determines the number of the stars; He gives to all of them their names.

Have a blessed day!
