L - Listen for God's Word and pray: Dear God, open my heart to Your Word and help me understand the significance of obeying it. Guide me in my journey to grow closer to You through my obedience and love.
E - Explore the History and Meaning: The apostle John, in his letter to the early Christian community, emphasizes the importance of obedience as a tangible expression of our love for God. This verse emphasizes that genuine love for God is revealed through obedience to His Word. It's not just about following rules, but about our hearts aligning with His will.

It's not about perfection; it's about a genuine desire to follow Him. And as we take these steps, we'll find ourselves more rooted in His love than ever before.
