“You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.” ~Song of Solomon 4:7

“You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.” ~Song of Solomon 4:7
THIS. Ahhhh! Picture Jesus reaching out His hand to you with these words. This is how He sees you! Not only as the collective, but individually, directed towards all whom He loves.
The relationship is intimate and tender; “we have come from the wilderness, leaning on our beloved” [Song of Solomon 8:5] There is a sense of rescue and salvation, an analogy to what our Messiah has done. God sees us in His Son. And His Son was the perfect unblemished lamb of God Who came to save the world (John 1:29). No flaw in His Son and no flaw in His beloved! Not because of anything we have done or not done, but all because of the Son, Jesus Christ.
“God has brought you into union with Christ Jesus ” ~1 Corinthians 1:30a
“And You [God] gave Him [Jesus] power over all people, so that He would give eternal life to everyone You give Him. ~John 17:2
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…” ~John 3:16a
Jesus declares, “I and the Father are one,” ~John 10:30
Our minds can’t handle this. We know how we are. But God sees differently. His way. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the LORD.” ~ Isaiah 55:8
“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him in love” ~Ephesians 1:4
And then THIS: “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine” ~Song of Solomon 6:3a
