"You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.” ~Psalm 8:3-5

“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which You have set in place, what is mankind that You are mindful of them, human beings that You care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.” ~Psalm 8:3-5
I’ve heard so many times that looking into the night sky makes you feel small and insignificant. Not me. No way. I can FEEL God’s love, knowing that He made all of THAT-UP-THERE for me. For you. So that our world can exist. Our little spec of earth in the vast universe, perfectly planned to provide the habitat for the crowning glory of His creation. Humankind.
My soul starts to sing, “How Great is Our God”, quickly turning to “Our God is an Awesome God” and finally settling in on an old old praise hymn, “He’s Everything to Me”. Do you know it?
In The Stars His Handiwork I See
On The Winds He Speaks Of Majesty
Though He Ruleth Over Land And Sea
What Is That To Me
I Will Celebrate Nativity
For It Has Its Place In History
Sure He Came To Set His People Free
What Is That To Me
Till One Day I Met Him Face To Face
And I Sought The Wonder Of His Grace
Then I Knew That He Was More Than
Just A God Who Didn’t Care
That Lived Away Up There, And
Now He Walks Beside Me Day By Day
Ever Watching Over Me Lest I Stray
Helping Me To Find That Narrow Way
He’s Everything To Me
